Exporting
Exporting print-ready files: formats, color space, proofing numbers, partial exports and more.
Export a finished book
1:02:52Click Export. BookProofs checks for missing files, resolution warnings and empty spreads first, then you choose format, color space and what to export.
Choose JPEG spreads, pages or PDF
1:03:09Select JPEG or PDF, spreads or pages, and sRGB or Adobe RGB (1998). Confirm the expected output with your lab - for most labs most of the time that's JPEG, spreads and sRGB, but there are quite a few labs with quite a few exceptions. BookProofs may also show additional lab export information at export, especially for labs that require unique export settings.
Include proof numbers on export
1:03:34If not using BookProofs Client Proofing, this will add image numbers into the exported files so you and your client can proof over email, for example.
Export only some spreads, and rename the files
1:04:00Export the whole book or just the spreads you pick, and set the file name for the export.
